Genesis Flood Class

May 6th - June 3rd, 2018

$0 - $10

Genesis Flood Class

Is God really out there? Does He interact with our world? We can tend to feel small in a huge universe, and sometimes God seems light years away. We want reassurance that God is active and present in our world. We want to know that He is personable - an Author who is involved in His story.

In our Genesis Flood Class, Pastor Josh Whitney and Pastor John Meyer (he is also one of our Regional Directors and has been studying this topic for 40 years) will take us on a journey through God's work and activity in our world - by examining the geological evidence for Noah's Flood. This class is lecture-intensive, but the payoff comes when you get to personally explore and examine geological features on a local field trip - AND in a multi-day excursion to Moab, Utah.

Once you know what to look for and where to find it, you'll see evidence for the Flood all around you. If you learn to recognize the signs of a global water catastrophe (the Flood), you'll never look at the planet's surface in the same way again - or question your place in God's story. Register at

Classes: There will be three, lecture-intensive classes that are suitable for adults as well as elementary-age children. The classes will be held on May 6 & 20 and June 3 (3 - 7:00 p.m.), at the Draper location (11630 S 700 E).
**Feel free to attend the classes even if you're not able to go on the Moab Expedition.

Field Trip: This local field trip will explore the geological features of the Wasatch Front.

Moab Expedition: Pastors Josh Whitney and John Meyer will lead the class on a multi-day trip to Moab, Utah (June 7-10).

Cost for the Class: $10 for adults (includes a field journal and a book about the Flood). The Moab Expedition is extra.

Romania 2018 Application

May 26th - June 9th, 2018

Are you handy with a hammer and a saw? Do you enjoy hard work? If you do, this mission trip is for you! We’re heading to Romania and we’d love for you to consider joining our group. We’re looking for a team of hard-working people to travel to Romania (starting May 26 — with the option of a one or two week stay). Our long-time ministry partner, Casa Sperantei (House of Hope), had a devastating fire last fall and their community building burned down. We’re going to help them rebuild. For questions or more information, contact Jim McFall (801-633-1954) or

Camp Cederedge is in Cedaredge, CO, which is about 40 miles southeast of Grand Junction.

Faithcamp will be a combination of Faithwalkers and our summer high school conference (DTC). We are planning a time of meaningful worship, powerful teachings (related to our identity in Christ), and organized activities. We get the whole camp to ourselves, which will create a great environment for hanging out, making new friends, and enjoying old friends.

With camping, it is easy to look forward to the memories and experiences that will leave lifelong impressions. However, what would be even more exciting, is that people would come to Faithcamp and experience a life-altering understanding of the depths of God's love-that He has obliterated our sins, welcomed us into His family with a huge smile on His face, and there we rest secure in His embrace. That is a goal we can come together and pray for!

Cedaredge does have 10 RV spots available for us. You do not need to make any additional reservations or pay any extra fees. Once those 10 spots are reserved you must choose an "Offsite" registration and make your own reservations elsewhere.

For those wishing to stay offsite (hotel, AirBnB, other camp sites, etc.) here are a few options for you to consider:

  • Aspen Trails RV & Camp¬ground (Across the road, only use when all spots at Cedaredge are filled)
    (970) 856-6321

  • Stay Wise Inn
    (970) 856-1000

  • Tri-R Motel
    (877) 877-4732

  • Cedaredge Lodge
    (970) 856-3727,
    (No kids. Only 7 rooms)

All registration options will cover breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. You are advised to get dinner Friday evening before checking in, as well as breakfast Tuesday morning after checking out.

Do not hesitate to register because there is a limited amount of spots
